Meet Our Leadership

Andy Wilkinson

E-mail Andy Wilkinson

Andy first came to the church in 2013 and started off as our youth worker. As Andy developed and explored church ministry he became the Associate Minister in 2015. Andy flourished in this role and felt God was calling him into full-time ministry, so the Church after careful consideration, prayer and discussion decided in 2016 to call him as our minister.

Andy is keen to enable people within the Church to develop gifts and talents with which they then can go on to build God’s kingdom and to deeply impact the community.

He loves Epworth and the surrounding villages having lived here since he was 6! Having grown up in the area, Andy has a heart for people here and to see God reaching people’s lives. As well as overseeing the church as Minister, Andy works with our young people. He is particularly excited about seeing what God does through them and loves seeing youngsters engage with a God who loves all people no matter how young or old!

He studied at Cliff College for his BA Hons in Theology in Derbyshire. He is married to Emily and dad of Ruby, he supports Manchester United and plays football for a local team. He is a keen lover of sport which has the ability to draw people together from all walks of life, he particular enjoys, football, rugby, squash, tennis, snooker, running and even bowls!

Terry Jaques

E-mail Terry Jaques

Terry joined the church in August 2012 when he moved to Epworth from Cheshire, where he had worked in the pharmaceutical industry until his retirement. Originally from the West Riding of Yorkshire he is glad to be back on the right side of the Pennines.
Appointed as a Deacon in 2015, Terry is responsible for the maintenance of the church building and equipment, and is part of the team in charge of the computer/PA during services. He is also a co-leader of a house group.

Outside of church he enjoys reading, walking, squash, snooker, cooking and eating!

His vision for the church is to see it fulfilling Gods purpose and for its members to fully realise the gifts of the spirit that we are heirs to as children of God.
