The Inca Trail Challenge!
The Inca Trail is a notorious 28-mile classic expedition to the 15thCentury Inca site of Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Situated 2,430m above sea level and surrounded by tropical mountain forest, Machu Picchu is a stunningly beautiful, iconic and unforgettable reward for all those setting out on the Inca Trail to reach it.
On 4 October 2013 one of our members Claire, took on this notorious challenge and changed lives by doing so.
By being part of The Inca Trail Challenge Claire:
Raised money to directly support Compassion’s Leadership Development Programme and release young adults from poverty in Jesus’ name;
Witnessed first hand where fundraising is going, she met those who will benefit, experience and be a part of Compassion’s work on the ground;
She met and joined fellow Compassion supporters in raising money to achieve a united goal;
She took part in a once-in-a-lifetime challenge, she tested herself and achieved something truly amazing and unforgettable;
